What this service can look like in practice.

These examples show the type of situation Hawk Eyes Cyber Tech can help with. The actual solution depends on what the assessment finds.

Example 01

A front entrance is visible but faces are unclear

What's happening

An existing camera shows the whole driveway, yet visitors appear too small or backlit to provide a useful image at the door.

How Hawk Eyes Cyber Tech can help

Hawk Eyes Cyber Tech can review the purpose, camera angle, distance, lighting and suitable placement so the entrance view is designed to capture the detail actually required.

Example 02

A shop discovers that recent footage is missing

What's happening

The cameras display live images, but the recorder cannot play back the period the owner needs.

How Hawk Eyes Cyber Tech can help

We can inspect recording schedules, storage health, date and time settings, retention behaviour and camera connection before explaining the fault and available options.

Example 03

Remote access was shared too widely

What's happening

Several people use the same CCTV login and it is no longer clear who should have access to live or recorded images.

How Hawk Eyes Cyber Tech can help

Hawk Eyes Cyber Tech can review supported account controls, remove unnecessary access, strengthen credentials and configure individual authorised users where the equipment allows it.

What we offer

Detailed support from assessment to completion.

03.1

Site and purpose assessment

The areas to be observed, the reason for monitoring and the level of detail required are established before equipment is selected.

03.2

Camera and position planning

Camera type, lens, height, angle, lighting and likely obstructions are considered to produce useful rather than merely wide coverage.

03.3

Cabling and network integration

Power, network connections, PoE capacity and bandwidth are planned so cameras can operate reliably without weakening the wider network design.

03.4

Recorder and storage setup

NVR or DVR recording schedules, time settings, image quality, storage use and practical retention requirements are configured and tested.

03.5

Secure remote viewing

Authorised access is configured with suitable accounts, strong authentication where supported, secure administration and unnecessary exposure avoided.

03.6

Troubleshooting and support

Offline cameras, missing footage, poor images and access problems are investigated across the camera, cable, power, network, recorder and app.

How the service works

A clear route through the problem.

Step01

Define the purpose

We establish what needs to be observed, why it matters, who needs access and what useful evidence would look like.

Step02

Review the site

Viewing areas, lighting, obstructions, mounting options, cabling, network capacity and recorder location are considered.

Step03

Install and configure

Agreed cameras, connections, recording and authorised access are set up in a controlled way.

Step04

Test and hand over

Day and night views, recording, playback and authorised remote access are checked, then essential controls are explained.

Common questions

Answers before you book.

If your situation is not covered here, describe the problem by telephone or WhatsApp.

01Can you advise where cameras should be positioned?+

Yes. Placement should follow a defined purpose and consider viewing angle, distance, lighting, obstructions, practical installation and privacy responsibilities.

02Can I view CCTV remotely?+

Many current systems support authorised remote viewing. The available options depend on the equipment, internet connection, account controls and security requirements. Remote access should be configured without exposing the system unnecessarily.

03How long will recordings be kept?+

Retention depends on the number of cameras, recording mode, image quality, storage capacity and the customer's legitimate requirement. It should be planned and tested rather than assumed.

04Does CCTV need its own network?+

Not always, but cameras should not simply be added to a business network without thought. Depending on the scale and risk, a separate network segment, controlled access and suitable bandwidth or PoE capacity may be appropriate.

Send your postcode and a short description so we can confirm coverage and the suitable support route. Appointments, scope and charges are agreed before work begins. Read the service-fee information.
